Tamara & Daniel got married last January in the beautiful Arcadian Lofts in downtown Toronto. It was one of the most beautiful, classiest weddings I’ve been honored to document. At times it was also super hilarious and random which you will see in this post.
My wonderful relationship with Tamara & Daniel actually started with meeting Daniel’s mother, Marla, in my studio downtown. Let me tell you, we had a blast chatting. From that moment I knew what (a wonderful thing) I was getting myself into before I even met the couple. I have to admit that these two lovely people exceeded my expectations by a long shot. We had such a great time throughout the planning stage and especially on the wedding day!
I showed up at Tamara’s hotel room to make sure I document the girls getting ready while my second shooter Shelbie gets some shots of the Daniel and his father getting ready in a different room in the hotel. It is hard to explain how beautiful of a bride Tamara was. She looked so classy and elegant. Unbelievably gorgeous! Right before we left for the first look shot we even got to play with some sparklers. Fun!
After a very sweet and emotional first look shot we drove to Nathan Phillips Square for some couple portraits. It was a very cold January day but sunny and great for photos. I take my hat of for Tamara and Daniel for being so awesome about shooting outside. After all, the wedding photos are one of the only things you can keep with you for years to come so it is definitely worth it to bite your lip in order to create these precious memories!
I count myself very lucky to have met this wonderful couple. It was such a stunning wedding to document!
